Social Justice
Social Justice is the practice of identifying and addressing the historic, institutional, and interpersonal inequities that oppress people along lines such as race, class, gender, sexuality and ability. Social Justice Education is a joint exploration between students, educators, and community that analyzes patterns of oppression, examines stories of resistance and liberation, and engages in critical self-examination. Through this process, our students will take steps to dismantle systems of oppression and achieve individual and collective self-determination.
